NYC Social Snaps

Case Studies

Creative Process

Every session was built around two priorities: the people and the city. I focused on making every subject feel at ease and look natural — because the most powerful portraits aren't posed, they're discovered. New York was treated not as a backdrop, but as an active part of each story — its energy, architecture, and light woven into every frame. I shot a mix of candid and directed moments, balancing polished composition with genuine expression to keep the imagery refined without feeling staged. Wide shots established the iconic NYC setting while tighter frames drew out connection, personality, and presence

Strategy & Outcome

The content was designed to speak to a diverse, ambitious audience — professionals, creatives, couples, and families across New York who take pride in how they show up in the world. By centering authenticity alongside aspiration, the imagery reinforces NYC Social Snaps' position as a premium experience accessible to anyone ready to invest in themselves. The resulting portfolio gives the brand a cohesive visual identity across website and social — one that communicates excellence, builds trust, and sells the experience before a client ever reaches out.

Project Description/Goals

NYC Social Snaps is New York City's premier outdoor portrait photography company, serving individuals, couples, and families across the city's most iconic settings. The goal of this shoot was to build a content library that reflects the caliber of the brand — imagery polished enough to elevate their website and compelling enough to stop the scroll on social media.

The broader objective was to position NYC Social Snaps as the premier choice for anyone looking to capture their time in New York: a diverse, accomplished clientele who want portraits as dynamic as the city itself.
